Infrastructure and Facilities
The present building was inaugurated in 1991. It occupies 11,200 m2 and offers the following facilities:
- Information technologies, computing services and servers
- Wi-Fi access throughout the building.
- 9 classrooms (2 of them with 1 PC per post) for 30-35 people
- Library (with more than 56,000 volumes – including videos, papers and didactic material – and 42 reading posts and on-line access to databases)
- Assembly hall (maximum capacity of 400 people, 2 interpretation/translation booths)
- Computer room (4 PCs, Internet and e-mail access, printer)
- 2 common rooms
- Cafeteria (capacity to serve up to 200 people; offers breakfast and daily menus)
Other services have also been integrated into the EASP, including: the Publication Unit, the Granada Cancer Registry, the Andalusian Centre for the Drug Information (CADIME), the Health Observatory in Europe (OSE) and the Communications and Institutional Relations Unit.
