Participation

What are the benefits for participants in the GENEIDA cohort?

The study investigators will inform those women whose results are found to be outside the normal range of values that could affect their health or that of their child.

Although the majority of participating mothers and children will not benefit directly from this study because no abnormal values or values that affect their health are detected, the information obtained from our research may benefit other children in the future, as it will allow us to have a better understanding of the effect of exposure to environmental pollutants on foetal and child development, which will allow us to take measures to protect their health.
